* 영어 조별과제(p.196)

1. 노벨 문학상(literature)

- 아시아계 모국어를 가진 나라가 단순히 영어로 표현할 수 없는 나라가 많고,
Most Asian countries have Asian mother tongues and their people can't use English language well.
문학상을 받은 나라는 단적으로 영어권인 나라이고, 수상자 또한 가장 많이 나왔다.
The Nobel prize winners are almost people in English speaking countries.
그러나 우리나라 같은 경우 많은 시인이나 소설가들의 작품이 매우 우수한 예술적
Although some Korean poets and novelist are considered as great artists, their works have difficulty being understood in English.
가치를 띄고 있지만, 영어로 표현하기에는 어려운 부분이 많다.

따라서 우리나라에서 수상자가 나올 확률이 거의 없다.
Therefore, It is little possible that Korean writers can be winners.
그러므로 이 상을 없애야 한다고 생각한다.
So I hope the prize will be abolished soon.

2. 노벨 예술상(얘는 영어로 어떻게 해야할까요? Nobel artist prize??;;;)
Nobel prize in art.
- 세계적으로 영향을 미치는 예술가들이 많이 있다.
There are many artists who influence the world.
예를 들면, 디자이너(백남준, 앙드레김), 미술가(인간문화재같은 분들;), 음악가(클래식 음악가들과 지휘자) 등이
We also have many influential designers, artists and musicians in Korea.
우리의 정서에 영향을 많이 주고 있고, 그 작품성과 가치를 높이사서 이 상을 재정하면 좋겠다는 생각을 했다.
These non-linguistic art fields can be free from English language and its cultural power, so If Nobel prize in art is born, more non English speakers will be given the award.
